Parent therapy

Parenting has difficulties at the best of times, but trying to be a good parent when you are still trying to work through issues of your own can be detrimental to the child and the family unit.

I offer therapy sessions both in the short-term and long-term to help parents through a wide range of personal issues, and help them overcome obstacles that are preventing them from reaching their parenting potential.

The aim is to help you achieve a happy bond with your through therapy and emerge on the other side as a more balanced individual or family unit.

Why should I consider parent psychotherapeutic support ?

For a parent

  • If there is a trauma from your past that you are struggling to deal with, such as a bereavement, divorce or any abandonment issues, abuse or anxiety.

  • If you are struggling to form a bond with your child due to inexperience, anxiety or fear.
